Valhall Exports Pvt Ltd., formerly incorporated as Valhall Sports Pvt Ltd in 2011 with motive of manufacturing sports apparel for Exports and domestic sales and promoting in India. With passage of time and prior experience of its director in apparel manufacture and exports and steady growth in apparel exports we moved on to Garment Exports fully. Mr. Yogesh Diwan one of the founding members of the company and one of its directors, who was primarily into promoting Floor ball and had come to India from Singapore after quitting his job for the sole purpose of making a career out of Floor ball, decided to move on and resigned from the company along with his wife Mrs. Rachana Diwan, the third director of the company, Mr. Rajiv Kumar then joined the company as a director and share holder and later on Mr. Satish Kumar was introduced as the third director and share holder in the company.
Since the introduction Mr. Rajiv Kumar the directors of the company decided to foray into some other businesses as well and was decided that the company will get into trading of goods. It was then decided that we would import Polymers which are in great demand and also a safe commodity as it is non perishable and not seasonal and would be a safe product to start with. In our first few purchases we imported plastic granules worth approx 4.35 crores and have been able to sell it profitably. In continuation we wish to do opportunistic trading in commodities that are in demand and that we are confident of marketing profitably in the domestic market. The commodities we intend to import are Copper, Polymers, Dry Fruits, Condiments and spices, etc, from around the world.
All the three directors are graduates and each have got ample experience in different fields, namely,
- Jay Prakash has an experience of over 20 years in apparel manufacturing for exports and domestic markets. Has worked with various Export houses doing garment exports and started with Valhall Sports in 2011. Has knowledge of Apparel branding and retail and has handled the complete operations from Manufacturing to retail of 'Mustard' a known plus size clothing brand in India from 2005 to 2012. Has studied apparel manufacturing technology from Sydney, Australia.
- Mr. Rajiv Kumar has an in-depth knowledge of real estate business and has been actively involved in real estate business in the NCR. Also studied in Australia pursuing an MBA degree.
- Mr. Satish Kumar has also been involved in real estate business in the NCR and has over 20 years experience in the same. He has childhood relations with Satish Kumar and has been working in tandem in real estate business.
The venture has the able guidance of Mr. Rakesh Grover a veteran business man and a close friend and mentor of the three directors.
